The Bega Valley Regional Gallery is a showcase for the regions artists. While the emphasis is on the display of local art and craft, the gallery also accepts state and national touring exhibitions. The gallery holds a collection of 120 works of historic and contemporary significance. Bega is 425 kms south of Sydney.

Goulburn Regional Art Gallery opened in 1982, but relocated to the Phillip Cox designed Civic Centre in 1990.The gallery curates exhibitions representative of a broad range of contemporary art/craft and media practice, and many address issues of local relevance. The permanent collection consists primarily of 20th century Australian paintings, but also includes contemporary textiles photography and sculpture.

Wollongong City Gallery is one of the largest regional art museums in Australia with a major central collection of art of the Illawarra, and contemporary Asian and Aboriginal Art. The Gallery also features an external public exhibiting space, and runs many workshops and public programmes.
The Gallery is centrally located, and occupies the old, impressive City Council chambers.
